Do you know which is the smallest eagle in the world? <br>Meet and learn about endangered birds of prey, their secrets, and how we can help them, guided by conservation experts. <br><br>We offer a guided tour of the aviary at the Fuente Empedrada Eagle Center, home to irreplaceable specimens of the Iberian imperial eagle, Bonelli’s eagle, golden eagle, booted eagle, short-toed eagle, peregrine falcon, and black kite. The experience is rounded out by the interactive exhibition "The Heart of the Eagle," a journey through the ancient relationship between eagles and humans.<br><br>The center is located within the Llanuras de Oropesa, Lagartera, and Calera y Chozas Special Protection Area (SPA), in the Campana de Oropesa region, and is wheelchair accessible. The tour of the aviary offers a unique perspective on the plains of the Campana de Oropesa, with the Sierra de Gredos mountain range as a backdrop.
