264542Scientific Ecotourism Experience: Living with Eagles<p>Have you ever stood one meter away from the most powerful weightlifter on Earth? Do you know which is the smallest eagle in the world? <br>Discover and learn about endangered birds of prey, their secrets, and how we can help them, guided by conservation experts. <br><br>We offer a guided tour of the aviary at the Fuente Empedrada Eagle Center, home to irreplaceable specimens of the Iberian imperial eagle, Bonelli’s eagle, golden eagle, booted eagle, short-toed eagle, peregrine falcon, and black kite. The experience is rounded out by the interpretive exhibition “The Heart of the Eagle,” a journey through the ancient relationship between eagles and humans.<br><br>The center is located within the Special Protection Area (SPA) of the Llanuras de Oropesa, Lagartera, Calera, and Chozas, in the Campana de Oropesa region, and is wheelchair accessible. The tour of the aviary offers a perspective on the flatlands of the Campana de Oropesa, with the Sierra de Gredos as a backdrop.
