Mountain fauna
A walk through the high mountains, on the border between the provinces of Granada and Almeria, to discover birds and fauna of high altitude.
One of the few places where you can observe the elusive Citril finch, which coexists with other forest birds such as the southern snipe, Iberian green woodpecker, black-winged tit, thrush, coal tit, blue tit, as well as our winter visitors, white-winged blackbird and siskin, among others.
In one of the locations we can enjoy the presence of the Iberian ibex, and if we are lucky, in February, the rutting fox, which surprises us by marking its territory with its barking.
