We are committed to the environment and work towards sustainable tourism.
That is why we are taking measures in this direction. More information
- Through this activity, I share in an entertaining way the unique features of the flora and fauna of Monte del Pueblo de Barlovento in the northeast of the island of La Palma and its importance for the inhabitants, interpreting traditional and contemporary rural life.
- The activity is designed for small groups and avoids the most sensitive and crowded areas, allowing participants to discover the natural wealth of the island of La Palma, always with respect for and conservation of the environment. As an ecotourism specialist, I will raise awareness among participants and support the conservation of biodiversity.
- I support local development with a visit to a local farm where customers can purchase cheese directly from the producer.

Discover one of the least known areas of the La Palma World Biosphere Reserve, in the northeast of Isla Bonita. This hike will take you to a key area for the island's water supply and allow you to delve into the lush Monteverde forest, a space full of life, history, and biodiversity.
The route passes through Monte del Pueblo de Barlovento, a unique enclave that is home to emblematic species of native laurel forest and tajinastes, whose presence is limited exclusively to this region.
Along the way, you will learn not only about the local flora and fauna, but also about the close relationship between this landscape, its natural resources, and the life of the municipality. With a little luck, you may even hear the unmistakable song of the laurel forest pigeons, true symbols of this ecosystem.
After the walk, we will visit a farm and cheese factory that works in harmony with the natural rhythm of the Palmera breed of goat. There you will discover the unique characteristics of this native breed, the reasons why it is in danger of extinction, and the initiatives that are being developed to ensure its conservation.
You will also learn firsthand about the artisanal production process of goat cheese with designation of origin, one of La Palma's most representative products, as well as the effort and dedication required by this traditional craft.
The experience culminates with a tasting of the products made on the farm itself, accompanied by a wine from the northwestern wine-growing region of the island. A perfect opportunity to connect with nature, culture, and the authentic flavors of La Palma.
Come and join us for an experience that combines nature, tradition, and flavor.
