We are committed to the environment and work towards sustainable tourism.
That is why we are taking measures in this direction. More information
Senda ecotourism is a travel agency specialized in ecotourism activities. All our activities comply with a series of sustainability criteria:
- Small groups (maximum 8 people) to enjoy the experience to the maximum and cause less impact.
- Minimum consumption. The activities are designed to get to know each space, avoiding large displacements when possible and reducing emissions to a minimum.
- Guided activities. All activities have a guide specialized in ecotourism, who accompanies the traveler offering a more extensive vision of the place visited and provides information on conservation and good environmental practices in the space.
- Carrying out activities in natural areas.
- Making known the natural and cultural values of the regions we visit, highlighting the need for the conservation of the areas.
- Contribution to the local economy. We have collaborators who live and work in the region we visit, creating a network of collaboration and contributing to the maintenance and conservation of rural and natural regions.
- Collaboration with conservation associations. We collaborate within our trips with the Foundation for the Conservation of the Bearded Vulture and the Brown Bear Foundation in their programs of conservation and recovery of these two species, through the conservation of the Bearded Vulture and the Brown Bear Foundation.
- We collaborate with the Bearded Vulture Conservation Foundation and the Brown Bear Foundation in their programs for the conservation and recovery of these two species, through the dissemination of their work and the contribution of visitors to the programs through sponsorship or donation.
- De-seasonalization of the offer. We are committed to the realization of our experiences outside the summer months, especially during the spring and fall.
- Carrying capacity and decentralization of the activity. We choose for most of our activities uncrowded areas, with high natural values and low presence of visitors.
- Good observation practices. In front of the guarantee of sighting, we promote an activity of observation of flora and fauna respectful and complying with the guarantees that make our activity does not cause discomfort in the environment or protected species.
- Good practices in the observation.
