We are committed to the environment and work towards sustainable tourism.
That is why we are taking measures in this direction. More information
These expeditions arise from the union of small companies that have common values in terms of respect and awareness of the environment. We participate in the proposal: Bluscus Maritime Tourism: Committed to the enhancement of the value of the sea trades and the seafaring culture of Galicia. They come from Galician seafaring families. Great knowledge of fishing environments and traditional navigation. Only through knowledge will it be possible to respect and protect the maritime heritage. North Wind Scientific Tourism: Team composed of marine scientists who firmly believe that knowledge is the best way to preserve the natural marine heritage of Galicia. We want to convey the message of how important the ocean is in our lives using citizen science as a powerful tool to bring marine research closer to society. Its mission will be achieved by creating tourist and educational experiences that are always framed in scientific activities through which citizens can collaborate in projects with public research institutions.

You will feel like an explorer aboard this traditional boat built in Galicia in 1912 in the shipyards of the port of Freixo in the estuary of Muros and Noia.
This boat is 18.70 meters long, 5 meters wide and 1.65 meters deep, it is rigged with two masts built in the style of the time and square sails, also made of traditional materials. We will sail if the group has experience in this type of voyages.
The objective of these expeditions is to create awareness among visitors through knowledge with guides specialized in different topics.
What does it consist of?
We will get up early to reach the island. We will disembark on the beach of Rhodes to get to know one of the most beautiful beaches in the world" with the island practically empty. In addition, the development of this experience will contribute to a citizen science project taking oceanographic data to analyze how the productivity of the oceans varies over time, allowing visitors to learn how scientists work.
With this experience we want you to feel like a scientist for a day and learn about the unique marine ecosystem that gave rise to the creation of the Islas Atlánticas de Galicia maritime-terrestrial national park, undoubtedly a unique place in the world. On the way back we will also approach the fishing fleet to learn about the work of the professionals of the sea. To end the day, we will have the opportunity to dive in the waters of the National Park without getting wet thanks to new technologies.
Through virtual reality goggles, the group will enjoy an immersive underwater experience with 360º images, so that visitors can immerse themselves in the landscapes that hide the islands on the other side of the surface to learn about the biodiversity that makes this place unique.
