Discover Ponga, the lesser known natural park of Asturias
Tour through the Natural Park of Ponga to identify the natural and historical factors that have led to the abandonment of the countryside to convert this council, despite being a short distance from the most visited areas of the region (Picos de Europa, Llanes), in the least densely populated of Asturias. Throughout the experience we visited the Beyos Gorge, Casielles, Sobrefoz, the viewpoint of Les Bedules and Sobrefoz with special mention to the Regional Tourist Interest Festival of the Guirria that, paradoxically, arises to ensure the productive and reproductive heritage of the local community. Analysis and interpretation of the landscape, review of the state of the architectural and ethnographic heritage and proposal for strategic planning of tourism through the territorialization of ecotourism activity (scientific tourism).
