A complete experience between the Consuelo and Boulloso Mines.
The experience combines different elements of interest: nature observation, ethnography and local history, adventure... through a compendium of activities that begin in the center of the village, next to its five emblematic calcination furnaces, followed by a hiking route that leads to some old iron mines in the process of naturalization. The guide explains not only the mining past of the area, its microtoponymy, customs, history and the transformation from a pre-industrial society to an industrial society at the beginning of the 20th century, but also the transformation from a pre-industrial society to an industrial society at the beginning of the 20th century. It also focuses on the process of natural regeneration in the old mining grounds, which has given rise to the existence of a great variety of mosses and ferns, including the luminescent moss Schistostega pennata, commonly called elves' gold, which is in danger of extinction. The experience has elements of adventure, such as access to the only mining gallery open to the public in Galicia, where the various speleothems (stalagtites, stalagmites, columns, pisolites...) are explained and observed, as well as some small horseshoe bats resting in the nooks and crannies of the rock. People who wish to do so, can save part of the route by jumping on the largest zip line in Galicia, which rises above the Turía River and connects the slopes of the mines. Children can also enjoy, at the end of the route, a children's forest with mini zip lines among the trees. This activity includes a guided visit to the zip line, with entrance to level zero of the Consuelo Mine. Approximate duration: 2.5 hours.

- Price: 25€/person - Children under 14 years old: 20€/person Note 1: The price of the activity is unique even if the zip line jump is not performed. People who do not use the zip line can continue on foot to the arrival point (20 min approx.) accompanied by the guide. It is important to remember that only people weighing between 45 and 110 kg can use the zip line. Children who do not reach the necessary weights and averages to descend can enjoy our children's zip lines located at the end of the route. Note 2: Children under 3 years old can do the "Ruta dos Fornos" free of charge accompanying an adult as long as they can wear a protective helmet. The use of a backpack is recommended. Only one child under 3 years old per adult is allowed. It is not necessary to reserve a place but it is necessary to inform the company by e-mail or at the meeting point.

Do not forget
- It is necessary to be at the equipment pick-up point between 15 and 5 minutes before the departure time of the route - The temperature inside the mine is approximately 11º Celsius. We recommend wearing light warm clothes.

Monitors and staff of Tirolina Das Minas A monitor of Tirolina Das Minas will accompany the group of participants of the activity at all times. There will always be a monitor supervising the participants. The placement of the pulley on the cable and the maneuver to connect to the pulley must be done by the monitor. Under no circumstances will the participant perform these maneuvers. In case any participant finds himself in an unsafe situation, he must notify the monitors and follow their instructions. The COMPANY managing the zip line Das Minas has contracted insurance policies for civil liability, accidents and health care, in order to cover any damages that may arise during the practice of these activities. For the safety of the participants, in case a group is doing the activity and there is a sudden change in the weather (strong wind, storm), the management reserves the right to stop the activity. In that case, the monitors will accompany the participants to the safety point they consider appropriate to ensure their safety. The company will not be responsible under any circumstances for possible accidents that may occur due to negligence of the participants, or for not following the rules described in this poster or for not following the instructions of the monitors. Material: To receive the safety equipment, participants must provide an identity card or credit card. In case of loss or deterioration of the safety equipment provided to the participant (1 harness, safety harness, 2 carabiners, pulley, helmet), the participant must reimburse the equipment. The participant agrees to obey the monitors and follow the rules and safety instructions that they establish. 3. The lack of physical or psychological conditions necessary to carry out the ACTIVITY of any of the clients/participants, or of their clothing or footwear, may result in the total or partial suspension or modification of the ACTIVITY. 4. The COMPANY EXPLORER assumes, from the moment the activity begins, the responsibility for the activity (covered by liability and assistance insurance), but each participant is responsible for himself/herself and his/her actions. 5. Each participant must have read the technical sheet of the activity and have understood all its contents. 6. By obtaining the ticket and signing the registration form, implies that the participant has read, understood and accepted the rules of participation of the ACTIVITY. 7. All minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The maximum number of people for a single guardian will be 5 participants-minors. In no case will the COMPANY be responsible for any personal effects or objects that are lost from the beginning of the activity until they leave the facilities. HOW DOES THE ACTIVITY DEVELOP? Once the entrance is verified at the meeting point where the equipment is collected, the participants will begin the guided route. Access to the Consuelo Mine will always be under the supervision of the instructor. At the zip line, once it is their turn, they will access by the stairs to the tower of the Take-Off Station, where the Descent Monitor will explain the rules and basic indications for the descent. The Descent Monitor will proceed to connect the participant with the cable by means of the pulley, once the equipment has been checked again. As soon as he receives confirmation that the landing station is free, the Launcher will be activated and ¡¡¡A fly!!!!. Once the descent is complete, the participant will remain in the arrival position until the Landing Monitor disconnects him from the cable and removes the equipment. Once the participant is out of the Landing Station, he/she must leave the pulley and the equipment where the monitor indicates and the activity will be finished, being able to continue the Ruta dos Fornos on his/her own.
