Our certificates:
Our ecotourism commitment:

- With this activity we want to show you in a pleasant way the fauna and flora of the Mediterranean forest of the Cabañeros National Park and its area of influence. For this we have authorized local guides who offer an insight into the history and way of life of the inhabitants who have preserved this environment.

- The activity is designed for small groups, to minimize negative impacts on the natural environment. Therefore, we avoid the most sensitive areas for flora and fauna depending on the time of year.

- We incorporate in the routes and activities relevant information about the cultural heritage, the use of resources and traditional trades practiced in the area and the historical role of the local population in the conservation and shaping of the landscape we see today. We support small local commerce by purchasing all products in local stores.

- We actively collaborate with the National Park, as well as with conservationist organizations that carry out fauna and/or flora monitoring activities: Spanish Herpetological Association (AHE) and Esparvel.

History, archeology and natural environment

Enjoy on foot a unique space, with high geological, botanical and scenic interest.

Located in the town of Hontanar, in the area of influence of the Cabañeros National Park, it is a little known environment, but has nothing to envy to the Chorro de los Navalucillos.

The route runs through a valley that runs along the course of the streams Trevejiles and Gimena, narrowing in the highest part, in a gorge where the water rushes creating beautiful waterfalls. During the tour we can observe roe deer, deer, wild boar, griffon vulture and black vulture. And Mediterranean vegetation dotted with rare species such as yew.

Enjoy a different experience in a natural environment that converges around the water, the forest and the mountain.
