- You will learn about the singularities of the fauna, flora, geology of the Costa de Dexo-Serantes Natural Monument and the use of the territory by its inhabitants, present and past, from the hand of our fantastic and experienced local nature guides.
- The activity is designed for small groups (15 people maximum) and avoids sensitive areas, such as bird breeding areas, always walking along the designated paths and avoiding loud noises, minimizing negative impacts on the environment.
- During the activity, the visitor is informed of the importance of reducing, reusing, returning and recycling, encouraging participants to produce little waste in the activity, carrying their own water bottle and separating the waste produced. Enjoy the best Atlantic forests, with ferns and unique aquatic fauna.

This route reveals the best coastal Atlantic forests of the Mariñas Coruñesas e Terras do Mandeo Biosphere Reserve, which are the habitat of several species of ferns from the Tertiary era, most of them endangered, and also of unique jewels such as the small salamander rabilarga.
 
We will walk beside the waters of the river Mandeo, which are home to protected species such as the river mussel, the scarce salmon and the endangered lamprey. You will enjoy these points of interest:
 
- Mandeo forests: the last Atlantic forests.
- Endangered flora and fauna: the daffodils, the salamander rabilarga, the river mussel, the lizard of the sierra...
- Ferns from the Tertiary era
- Fishing for salmon and sea bream

During our walk along the banks of the Mandeo River, you will have the opportunity to discover how the water of the river has been creating its path over millions of years, stimulating a lot of life and forests in its surroundings. On its way to the sea, it will reveal its hidden exceptional values, real natural and cultural treasures, seasoned with relaxing watery sounds.
 
Enjoy a route guided by an expert in heritage interpretation who will accompany us on our journey and help us to discover the valuable flora, fauna, history, human uses... of the Natural Area in an enjoyable and fun way.
