During the activity: - The attendants will be informed about the importance of fungi in nature and several relevant questions for their identification and understanding - Any relevant data about the species found will be written down creating an exsiccata, which will be kept in a myco-herbarium made available to the scientific community. The name of the assistant who found the species will be included as "collector". The local mycological association "Gorbeiako Bazterra" and the "Iberian Mycological Society" will be informed. - The displacements inside the natural parks to prepare the activities are done preferably by electric bicycle, which is charged with solar panels installed in a mobile laboratory - We actively collaborate with public and private entities with the media in the dissemination of mycology as a precursor of mycotourism.

The forest and the water - The mountain and the cliff
Discover the fungi and mushrooms of our mountains, accompanied by a professional mycological guide, we will see edible and toxic species. You will learn how to recognize the mushrooms and fungi, how to locate them and the correct way to collect them. The duration of the route is approximately 4 hours, you will need a knife, basket, suitable clothing and footwear, something to eat for lunch (a sandwich or similar). If you don't have a basket or knife, let us know and we will get you one. From Mycology for everyone we want to show you: exquisite "mushrooms" Boletus edulis, dangerous "green hemlock" Amanita phallloides", mythical "dwarf mushrooms" Amanita muscaria and many more... What surprise will be waiting for us in the next route? A qualified mycological guide will design an exclusive route for the attendees during the previous days in order to locate the best area with the greatest variety of species. The day before we will send you the exact location of the activity, after checking all our routes. You can choose the best date that suits you within the options that we propose in the outings during 2025. Send us a WhatsApp message or call us to know your availability. If you have any disability we can adapt the route to your needs. We can even include staff and specific material to assist you during the activity. Most of our outings are made by Gorbeialdea. We do not suspend the activity due to weather conditions except for confirmed alerts that affect us, in which case we will propose a new date.
