2.- All actions related to the activity and that consume energy -before being carried out in the office, in the origin-destination route and in the activity itself- are compensated with the certified project Neutro Carbón collaborating in reforestation in the Piornal Cacereño.

3. Special prices in low season outside of national holidays and during the week. Singular tour different from that taken by most visitors.

4. At the end of the experience we offer lunch in a local restaurant with which we collaborate.

A surprising tour through the Genil valley

A route of great beauty awaits us in the heart of the Sierra Nevada National Park. A path through a boxed valley that closes in the background with a striking scene of the summits of the great peaks of Sierra Nevada: Mulhacén and Alcazaba.

On this occasion we will make a circular route that adds great interest and value to the classic Vereda de la Estrella. A very attractive alternative for those looking for a more solitary route full of heritage.

Although we start by the classic Vereda de la Estrella, we soon leave it to climb the slope of the Dehesa de San Juan traveling the traditional path to climb to the high pastures located at the headwaters of the rivers Guarnón and San Juan.

On the route we find places full of history, traces of shepherds, farmers and miners, old farmhouses, irrigation ditches and ponds. Some landmarks to highlight are the houses of the Hortichuela, the cortijo de los Hoyos and the houses of Hornillo.

Landscape and heritage.
- History of the Sierra Nevada, its uses and resources?
- The Sierra Tramway and the Vereda de la Estrella?
- Traditional constructions and uses: farmhouses, irrigation ponds, threshing floors and irrigation ditches?
-Geological interest: mining in the San Juan ravine, rocks and minerals?
- Striking landscape in autumn for the range of colors. Ecological value of the oak forests and the Dehesa de San Juan.
