You will live the experience of sleeping in the open air in the middle of the mountain.
From Somiedo Experience we want you to have the opportunity to experience what it feels like to spend the night in the land of bears and wolves. Observe the stars in a pure sky, listen to the sounds of nocturnal wildlife and wake up with the incredible landscapes of the Natural Park of Somiedo.
We will provide you with optical material for wildlife observation and all the necessary equipment for the bivouac.
- You will live the experience of sleeping outdoors in the middle of the mountain, you will enjoy a sunset and a sunrise that you will never forget in your entire life.
- You will experience the sensation of waking up in the nature and having breakfast in the middle of the Natural Park.
Thanks to the activity of bivouac in Somiedo, you will know the mountain in a different way than you can visit it during the day.
Prices
- Participant (+12 years old): 150€/person.
The price includes
- 1 night of directed bivouac.
- 3 hours of route and 1 night sleeping in the open .
- 1 local guide.
- In times of great affluence we will be helped by several fellow guides.
- Interpretative route.
- We will talk about the fauna and flora that we will find along the route until we reach the point where we will spend the night in the open.
- Small groups.
- We will organize groups of between 3 and 8 people so that the experience is more personalized and exclusive.
- Optical equipment.
- You will have binoculars and telescopes for wildlife observation and we will teach you how to use them.
- Bivouac equipment.
- You will have at your disposal: sleeping bag, bivouac cover, mat, pillow and sheet.
- Dinner and breakfast in the nature.
- We will take care of dinner and breakfast in the open.
- Accident insurance.

- Note: the departure time (depending on the sunrise or sunset) varies depending on the season. In Somiedo Experience we adapt to the rhythm of the seasons.

- It takes place in the natural park of Somiedo.
- Maximum of 8 people per schedule.
- Available languages: Spanish and English.
- It is not an accessible activity.
- In case of rain or adverse weather forecast, the organization may cancel the activity, giving at least 12 hours notice.

Do not forget
- To reach the area of Somiedo where we will carry out the bivouac activity we will have to cross dirt roads and mountain trails.
- Ideally, that day you should wear comfortable clothes and footwear suitable for walking in these places.
- The high mountain weather is unpredictable especially at dawn and dusk, so it is important to always bring (even in August) warm clothes to wear after the route (hat, gloves and jacket).
- The rest of the material for the bivouac will be provided by us (bag, bivouac cover, inflatable mattress, mat, pillow and sheet).
- And we will also take care of dinner that night and breakfast the next day (if you have any kind of food allergy or there is any food that you do not like, remember to mention it when you make the reservation).
- For the bivouac activity, we do not use a tent.

Booking conditions
A deposit of 20% of the total amount of the booking will be required by bank transfer at the time of booking.
Cancellation policy
The cancellation of the booking may result in the refund of part of the money paid, depending on the time of cancellation:
- In the case of cancellation by the organisation, the total amount of the advance payment will be refunded.
- During the last 7 days: no refund.
- Partial cancellations (cancellation of any of the contracted places) will not be refunded.
