Balhondo Open Village, as a rural hotel located in Puebla de Alcocer, Badajoz and belonging to the Siberia Extremeña, a region whose part was declared a biosphere reserve by UNESCO in 1991. In this region is the National Reserve of Cíjara, home to deer, wild boar, roe deer, eagles but there are also prehistoric remains (dolmens of Valdecaballeros, Roman remains Lacimurga, legacy of the orders of Alcántara, Castle of Puebla and Herrera del Duque). Also, ornithological destination of birds of special protection. Golden eagles, black vultures, black cigu?eñas, and finally, there are 5 large reservoirs that build the largest area of inland beach in Europe. Declares: That, Balhondo Open Village, is committed to care for and conserve the biodiversity and local development of the same and for this we carry out the following actions:- We work with local produce whenever possible in our breakfasts, etc.- We have different containers, separated by type of material, to promote recycling.- All the hotel lighting is low consumption and / or led.- We are members of the Club La Siberia, among others.

Welcome to Balhondo Open Village, a four star rural house/hotel located in Puebla de Alcocer, a place where you can enjoy a quiet and ideal environment to disconnect from the routine. Located in a perfect area for birding, hiking through the many routes of pastures and olive groves, live the traditions of the region and its people, hunting in countless preserves, fishing or swimming in one of the five reservoirs surrounding the village and that make up the largest number of inland beaches in Spain.
Balhondo Open Village is a new concept of rural accommodation that incorporates new technologies merging tradition and modernity in the same space. This is the first differentiating surprise that defines our rural house: you will not have keys to enter the house or your room. Your cell phone will be your key during your stay.
The upper floor has seven double rooms. Of these seven, two of them can be joined together to become a quadruple room, thus creating a room for six people.
On the lower floor, there is a double room adapted for people with reduced mobility.
*Possibility of renting the whole house, maximum 20 people.

Scope of application
The terms and conditions contained in this document shall apply to the relationship between the Client and the Balhondo Open Village Hotel from the time the reservation is requested until the date on which the period of accommodation at the hotel ends.
In the event that the Client makes a reservation through third parties (tour operators or internet room booking portals that collaborate with Balhondo Open Village), the Client shall be subject to the economic (offers, discounts, etc.), reservation and cancellation conditions established by said third parties.
Balhondo Open Village does not establish and is not responsible for the economic conditions (offers, discounts, etc.), reservation and/or cancellation conditions established by third parties (tour operators or internet room reservation portals that collaborate with Balhondo Open Village).
Conclusion of the contract
When a client makes a reservation for a room, the BALHONDO OPEN VILLAGE booking engine will send him/her a message confirming the reservation, which will include, among others, a reservation code, the dates and rooms selected, and the price of the reservation.
The BALHONDO OPEN VILLAGE always has the right to refuse to enter into a contract and provide a room at its sole and discretionary discretion.
Typology of reservations and their cancellation:
At Balhondo Open Village the client can make two types of reservations: simple reservation or reservation with guarantee.
Simple reservations are those that are processed directly with the staff of Balhondo Open Village via telephone or email, and do not require prior payment. This type of reservation, the payment is made during your stay or just before leaving the hotel.
Reservations with guarantee are those in which the client must pay in advance an amount or the totality of the reservation, having to provide valid and complete data of a credit card.
Both simple reservations and reservations with guarantee can be cancelled with Balhondo Open Village with 7 days notice without penalty only if such reservations have been made directly with the hotel either by phone or email, or through the hotel booking engine.
If the reservation is not cancelled at least 7 days in advance, a financial penalty equivalent to the price of one night's stay in the room booked by the client will be applied.
If the client made a reservation with a guarantee and therefore paid in advance, he/she can either receive a refund or keep the advance amount to use it for a future reservation.
In the event that reservations have been made through third parties (tour operators or internet room booking portals that collaborate with Balhondo Open Village), the client must request the cancellation from said third party in accordance with the conditions established by the third party.
Arrival and departure
One or two days before arrival, the client will receive by email or message a link from the application ?ELEA OPEN?, where the access codes to the main door of the hotel, as well as to the reserved room, will be provided.
Balhondo Open Village will provide the client with the reserved room from the date of arrival.
Upon arrival at the hotel, the client will receive basic instructions from Balhondo Open Village staff on how to access the rooms and where to find the physical keys to the reserved rooms in case the access keys do not work.
On the date of departure the Client will have to leave the room unoccupied of people and goods and without any damage.
ANIMALS
Only animals categorized as "pets" are allowed. It is necessary for the client to notify in advance if he/she will bring a pet or not.
TERMS OF USE
Customers must treat the hotel room with care and consideration.
The Client must treat other hotel guests with consideration and respect the hotel rules posted in the hotel and, if applicable, which are also part of the accommodation contract.
The Client is not allowed to cook food brought either in the hotel room or anywhere else on the hotel premises.
Children under the age of 14 must be supervised by an adult Customer at all times during the stay at the hotel.
The Client is strongly advised not to keep or leave without any money, jewelry, valuables or other valuable items left in the hotel room.
The Balhondo Open Village offers its Clients a small safe located in each hotel room in which they can keep valuables, provided that the hotel staff is duly informed in this regard
Balhondo Open Village does not assume any responsibility in the event of theft, loss or deterioration of valuables such as money, jewelry or other objects of considerable value if such events take place in the hotel room or inside the vehicles parked in the parking lot.
ACCESS TO THE HOTEL ROOM BY BALHONDO OPEN VILLAGE
Balhondo Open Village and its staff have the right to enter the hotel room, during the Client's stay, in order to carry out cleaning, repair and similar works.
VALUE OF STAY AND OTHER PRICES
The value of the stay to be paid by the Customer constitutes the consideration for the availability of the use of the hotel room, in the period from arrival to departure.
The total price of the stay will be charged per night, regardless of whether the Customer has actually used the room or spent the night there.
The applicable rates are the agreed prices or the price indicated in the Balhondo Open Village price list in force on the date of conclusion of the contract. Balhondo Open Village shall have the right to increase or decrease the values if any tax, visitor's contribution or other charges are changed or introduced, or if it is an exceptional booking not normally contemplated in the rates.
The rates or values indicated in the terms and in the accommodation contract are inclusive of VAT, unless expressly stated otherwise.
TERMS OF PAYMENT
Fees for additional services, within the meaning of no. 1 shall be, for example, amounts relating to parking or breakfast prices, and other amounts that are not expressly mentioned in the accommodation contract, which are part of the value of the stay.
Balhondo Open Village only accepts payment in Euros. The methods can be Cash, transfers, American Express, PayPal and credit cards: Visa and MasterCard. Other means of payment are only allowed in exceptional cases, with the consent sometimes given by Balhondo Open Village.
CLAIMS FOR MATERIAL DEFECTS
The Client must inspect the hotel room at the time of arrival and immediately report any defects he/she may find to the hotel reception.
Any defects that appear during the stay must be reported to the hotel reception so that the Client becomes aware of them.
In the event that it is verified that there is indeed a defect in the Client's room, Balhondo Open Village has the right to choose between repairing it and relocating the Client to another room.
For the above mentioned purposes, only serious defects capable of jeopardizing the level of service and quality of the hotel are considered, and Balhondo Open Village is not obliged to take action in the case of irrelevant, unreasonable complaints or those related to details that do not conflict with the minimum contracted level of service.
In the event that Balhondo Open Village does not have the necessary means to repair the relevant defect or to replace the Client's room with another one, the Client may only terminate the contract and receive the value paid for the room, and may not demand anything else from Balhondo Open Village for any reason whatsoever.
RESPONSIBILITY ON THE PART OF BALHONDO OPEN VILLAGE
Balhondo Open Village will only be responsible for damages or losses of the Client when such situations result from the guilty action of Balhondo Open Village.
Balhondo Open Village does not assume any responsibility for loss of data provided by the Client in the case of electronic transmission of payment data, being only responsible if there is a guilty action.
Balhondo Open Village does not assume any responsibility for damages or accidents occurring inside the room or any other part of the hotel except if these accidents are caused by Balhondo Open Village's fault.
Balhondo Open Village shall not be held liable to the Client in case of delay in room availability, even if there are valid reasons for the timely non-availability of the room.
To the effects of the previous number will be considered valid reasons for the impossibility or more difficult room availability, for example, strikes, blockades, natural disasters, accidents in the room or in the hotel.
Balhondo Open Village does not assume any responsibility for acts performed by any employee of the hotel, unless he/she is in his/her normal work period, properly identified and uniformed as any other employee of the company.
Balhondo Open Village does not assume any responsibility nor can it in any case be held responsible for the non-fulfillment of accessory obligations.
Balhondo Open Village cannot in any case be held responsible for any action or omission of any other Client, even if it is susceptible to cause damage or harm to another Client of the hotel. Any and all damages caused to third parties by Clients of the hotel will be the exclusive responsibility of these and totally unrelated to Balhondo Open Village.
Balhondo Open Village shall not be liable to the Client for any loss of profits or indirect damages, even if they result from the non-fulfillment of the main obligation.
DUTY OF NOTIFICATION
In the event of theft or damage to property or, in the event of fire, water damage or other damage to the hotel room, the Client must immediately inform the hotel staff and do everything possible to assist in resolving the theft or repairing the damage.
TERMINATION OF THE ACCOMMODATION CONTRACT
Balhondo Open Village has the right to terminate the accommodation contract in the event that the Client fails to fully and promptly pay the price when due or fails to provide the required security.
Either of the contracting parties may terminate the accommodation contract summarily for just cause.
Balhondo Open Village shall have the right to immediately terminate the accommodation contract for just cause if the Client engages in any behavior that affects the healthy coexistence, calm or hygiene of the hotel, especially if during his stay at the hotel the Client is under the influence of drugs or alcohol, uses the room for prostitution practices, acts offensively towards the hotel staff or towards other hotel guests, disturbs the peace of other hotel guests or, in the past, has made malicious false reservations and/or damaged or destroyed the hotel or its facilities.
