Bentazar is located in a unique enclave, just 200m. from the Santa Engracia reservoir and surrounded by meadows, between the natural parks of Urkiola and Gorbeia and 300m. from the N-240 that connects Bilbao and Vitoria. When you arrive at Bentazar you will find a farmhouse more than three centuries old, which was one of the innumerable inns located on the ancient Roman roads that linked our villages. Today you will find it completely restored, but preserving in its interior several details that transport us to the past, both structurally and in the furniture, which is almost entirely restoredThanks to our location our customers can enjoy a wide range of activities and excursions: Hiking, walks in the surroundings, canoeing, horseback riding, fishing (pike, trout, signal crab and red crab), golf (5km. from the Larrabea golf course), visits to the Artium of Vitoria (20km.), visits to the Basque Pottery Museum (600m. walking distance), visits to the Guggenheim in Bilbao (50km.), visits to the Kursal in San Sebastian (120km.), visits to La Rioja (55 km.). To know the Basque gastronomy in our restaurant as well as in those of the surroundings. Rest after work, because we are a few minutes away from two industrial parks in expansion (Goiain 11km. and Miñano Technological Park 16km.). Etc.
