In Las Cabañas de Canide, we are committed to the conservation of biodiversity and local development in Oleiros, aware that we are located in an area of biosphere reserve, and to achieve this, the sustainability policy of our accommodations is translated into the construction in wood and the implementation of good environmental, social and economic practices, which mitigate as far as possible our impact on the carbon footprint. Specifically: ? we have used PFSC and FSC certified wood in the construction of the cabins ? use of LEDs and low consumption light bulbs ? use of dual flush systems in toilets. ? flow limiters in the faucets of the sinks and kitchen. Gel and shampoo dispensers. Waste recycling: use of containers for each type of waste, both for staff and customers for their subsequent treatment. ? installation of aerothermal heating system ? installation of a home automation system that allows programming the efficient use of lights and air conditioning equipment and A.C.S. ? at present, we are immersed in an installation of solar panels for better energy efficiency of our consumption ? we have information in the cabins and on the web about good environmental practices for our customers that they can assume themselves during their stay ? dynamization of the existing business network in the environment ?We work in a collaborative way to promote local development, boost tourism and strengthen the economy of the area, through the acquisition of products certified by the "Biosphere Reserve" or certified as ? KM zero products to offer to our customers and through collaboration agreements with service companies in the area of various nautical activities.

Las Cabañas de Canide is an Eco-friendly project located in the area of the Biosphere Reserve "Mariñas Coruñesas e Terras do Mandeo", the second Biosphere Reserve in surface of Galicia, consisting of wooden apartments of ecological and environmentally friendly construction.
The complex is located in the Urbanization Santa María de Canide, in Mera, 12 km from A Coruña and is designed to accommodate up to 20 people, families, couples or groups of friends looking for a place with a privileged location with stunning views of the estuary of A Coruña and the Tower of Hercules and where to spend a few days in contact with nature, enjoy the Galician gastronomy, its beaches, visit the city of A Coruña or perform active tourism activities.
It consists of three apartments and a family suite that can be rented separately or together and all of them have large windows facing the sea to enjoy the breathtaking views and sunsets.
The cabins have all the amenities to have an unforgettable stay.

Booking conditions
TERMS OF PAYMENT
The reservation implies the payment of 50% of the total amount at the time of booking.
CANCELLATION POLICY
"Full refund of the paid reservation in case of cancellation more than 15 days in advance.
"There is no right to a refund of 50% of the paid reservation if cancellation is made between 15 and 7 days before the scheduled arrival date.
"The card provided by the client will be charged 100% of the amount of the reservation when cancelled less than 7 days before the scheduled arrival date.
"During the summer season (July and August) the free cancellation period is 1 month prior to the scheduled arrival date. Cancellations in the last month prior to entry will be charged the total amount of the reservation.
The customer agrees to pay the full amount of the reservation upon arrival at the accommodation. In case of cancellation or early departure the client loses the total amount made on account of the reservation.
The prices of the reservation include VAT.
CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT TIMES AND MINIMUM STAY
- Check-in: from 16:00 - Check-out: at 12:00
Depending on availability and after consultation with the accommodation, flexibility in check-in and check-out times may be agreed upon.
The minimum stay is 2 nights on weekends, 3 nights on long weekends, Easter, Christmas, and 6 days in the summer season during the months of July and August.
RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE ENTIRE CONTENTS AND ANY DAMAGE CAUSED.
Guests are responsible for the cabins with all their contents and for returning them in perfect condition at the end of their stay. They must replace or pay for any damage caused.
In this sense, you must take into account that for a greater comfort in our establishment, we have different functional or decorative accessories for your exclusive use during your stay. These items are not for sale and are property of Las Cabañas de Canide.
At the disposal of the client there is a complete inventory of the accommodation and complaint forms.
RECEPTION
We do not have a permanent reception so you should contact the accommodation to coordinate the delivery of keys, being necessary to inform the approximate time of arrival.
Similarly for any incident during your stay you can contact us by phone at 696 47 89 47 (in Spanish) or 619 73 83 00 (in English).
CLEANING SERVICE
The cleaning service and the change of linen and towels is done every three days between 11:00h and 12:00h. The cleaning service does not include kitchen utensils, which are the responsibility of the users.
If you need additional towels during this period, please do not hesitate to ask for them.
RESPECT FOR THE ENVIRONMENT AND GUESTS
The "Cabañas de Canide" is a quiet place, so out of respect for the rest of the guests, no disturbing or noisy activities are allowed:
* Music or noises from 00:00 outside.
* Parties, celebrations, etc.
* Occupation of the cabins by a higher number of people (adults/children) than allowed. If this situation occurs, these people will have to leave the accommodation.
* The entry into the cabins of people who are not staying in the cabins.
* Smoking inside the cabins. In case of smoking outside, please make sure that the cigarette butts are well extinguished before throwing them in the trash for risk of fire.
* To hang towels or any other attire on the terraces, out of respect for the environment and other guests, having towel racks on the porch for this purpose.
* Pets are not allowed. If you wish, we can provide you with the contact of a "dog sitter" (Juan Luis: 665 54 47 98) outside the lodgings who can take care of your dog if you need him to travel with you. This service is outside our establishment, declining any responsibility related to it.
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR RESPONSIBLE USE AND CONSUMPTION:
"Water: water resources are becoming increasingly scarce. Use water responsibly.
"Do not leave the faucet running while soaping, shaving or brushing your teeth; you will be wasting a lot of water that you do not use for anything.
"Use only as much water as you need to have a happy stay, but don't waste water you don't need.
"Do not use the heating with the windows open.
"Turn off lights when you don't need them.
"Do not use the toilet as a waste disposal system and use the dual flush mechanism correctly.
"Please make proper use of the waste sorting garbage cans.
"When you go out in the field, do not throw cigarette butts, papers, cans, , which pollute.
