La Casa del Naturalista was born in 1996 with the idea of offering something more than a simple lodging in a rural environment. ? It is not only an accommodation, it is a way of understanding life, where environmental education, ecological agriculture and the accommodation itself are an indivisible whole? The Nature Classroom "El Busgosu" is a very important part of the conception of the Casa del Naturalista. Environmental education is mainly focused on children. ? We have obtained the Ceres Ecotur/Ecolabel Eceat International certification and Accueil Paysan labeling for the defense of a peasant agriculture compatible with natural resources? Our garden was created with the idea of obtaining organic products for sale, it is registered in the COPAE. With the passage of time it was transformed more than a farm, in a recreational garden focused mainly on the sensory enjoyment of the visitor. At present the garden is the place of supply of seasonal vegetables, both for family consumption and for those staying in the house? We have low consumption lights and presence detectors to save energy.? We recommend nearby places to visit, routes, local guides and the consumption of local products, informing about the restaurants and stores where you can taste or buy them.

La Casa del Naturalista, in Argüeru, encompasses a set of interrelated activities that try to generate a livelihood. These activities are environmental education, ecological agriculture and rural tourism.
In 1996 we started to implement the idea of the Casa del Naturalista, making rural tourism a complement to the garden and environmental education.
The house is integrated in a traditional Asturian quintana with hórreo and panera, rehabilitated respecting the own characteristics of the house, with stone and wood. It is a two-storey house with a gallery and doorway, facing south. On the first floor there are two rooms, a living room with fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen, upstairs there are a total of 5 bedrooms all with private bathrooms, decorated in a simple and functional way. The house is ideal for a group of friends or family.

Down payment to reserve: 30% of the total reservation.
Cancellation policy: Up to 15 days prior to arrival, 100% refund of the deposit paid.
