At Casa Grande do Soxal we are committed to biodiversity conservation and local development in the Concello de Oza-Cesuras and the regions of A Coruña, Betanzos and Terra de Melide. We support local and small-scale service providers, such as bakers, greengrocers and cooperatives, generating synergies that allow their small businesses to thrive and contribute significantly to the local economy. We revalue the natural and cultural resources of our municipality and the destination of the Biosphere Reserve of A Coruña and Terras do Mandeo, offering complementary tourist information and recommending local businesses, with the aim of boosting local development and promoting the economy of the area.? We actively participate in joint initiatives with other establishments in Oza-Cesuras through our business association (ASOCE-Association of Entrepreneurs of Oza-Cesuras). We work collaboratively to promote local development, boost sustainable tourism and strengthen the economy of the area... We collaborate with social projects. As an example, we collaborate with "Mulleres Colleiteiras", a project whose main objective is the collection, storage and reuse of used cooking oil, carried out by women in a situation of social exclusion, as a means to join the formal sector of self-employment, offering an effective proposal to the problem of dumping of cooking oil and the use of a resource? We make use of the resources that our farm provides, such as lemons, kiwis, vegetable garden with aromatic plants, lettuce, zucchini or peppers. The aim is to offer KM 0 and seasonal products... Through sustainable actions carried out in our rooms or in the restaurant, and using social networks as a loudspeaker, we inform our customers and followers of the changes made and their benefit to the environment. For example, the replacement of single-dose amenities with larger and refillable dispensers, with the aim of reducing the use of plastics.
