At Hotel Lince, we are committed to biodiversity conservation and local development in Aznalcázar, within the Doñana Natural and National Park. Our family-run hotel is nestled in a protected area of ??high natural and cultural value, and we strive to ensure our guests' stay aligns with the responsible use of the land.
1. Connection with Doñana: We are aligned with the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism for the Doñana Natural Area and are members of the Sustainable Tourism Forum. Furthermore, we aim to strengthen our connection with the protected area through informative content about its ecological and cultural values, and with environmental awareness messages on our future website.
2. Environmental Management of the Hotel: We already implement an energy-saving system with key cards, centralized air conditioning, and energy-efficient televisions, reducing unnecessary daily consumption. We are also working to improve our practices with LED lighting, refillable water dispensers, double glazing, eco-friendly paper, and are currently studying the possible installation of photovoltaic panels.
3. Biodiversity and Environment: In our garden, we plan to gradually incorporate native plants from Doñana, and the accommodation already features a landscaped terrace that allows us to better integrate the outdoor space with the surrounding environment. Furthermore, the project includes interpretive signs with the common and scientific names of each species, reinforcing the dissemination of information about their ecological role.
4. Local Development and Heritage: We promote the festivals and traditions of Aznalcázar and collaborate with local brotherhoods and fraternities, maintaining an active connection with the community. We also seek to create synergies with companies offering activities in the Doñana area, promote options for cyclists and hikers, and continue working with local agencies and services specializing in sustainable tourism.
