From the farmhouse of Valverde:
– We have incorporated bins in the apartments to facilitate the recycling of plastics and glass.
– We provide compostable cleaning products in cloths and scouring pads, as they must be disposed of after use to avoid microplastics.
– To promote the circular economy in our breakfasts, we've incorporated bread from a local artisan bakery, our jams are homemade, and the olive oil is organic. We offer fruits and vegetables from our organic garden and honey from our beehives.
– We use non-ionic and biodegradable surfactants and natural essences to make our bath gel, shampoo, and bath salts.
– We offer workshops on medicinal plants, natural cosmetics, aromatherapy, perfumery, and organic agriculture.
– We are members of the Association Viajando por los pueblos negros, which organizes two main events: "Arte en la Plaza," aiming to bring the art world to villages as a tool for social revitalization, and "Toma Castaña," promoting the local chestnut product, reforestation, and ethnography.
– We promote the "Vive tu espacio" program of the Sierra Norte de Guadalajara Natural Park to our clients when actions are carried out near our territory. Before their arrival, we email them information about the Natural Park's trails, the nature network, and suggestions for other routes we create ourselves.

Our House and Rural Apartments are located in the so-called black villages of Guadalajara that are grouped in the vicinity of the mountains that separate the province with that of Segovia, and also near the boundary with the province of Madrid, at the foot of Pico Ocejón. specifically in the village of Zarzuela de Galve, hamlet of Valverde de los Arroyos. We are located in the heart of the Sierra Norte de Guadalajara Natural Park, a Natura 2000 network area.
We offer our clients a wide variety of options to make their stay at La Alquería de Valverde a lasting memory. As many people have seen, our philosophy is to live in harmony with our surroundings.
