Booking conditions

Reservations may be cancelled free of charge up to 23:30 prior to 7 days prior to arrival date, if cancellation is made less than 7 days prior to arrival date a charge of 100% of the total reservation amount will be incurred,

Room rates include accommodation, breakfast and 10% VAT.

Reservations and cancellation policy

- Weekend reservations require a minimum stay of 2 nights.

Reservations during the month of August or holidays (Easter...) require a minimum stay of 2 or 3 nights, depending on established conditions.

When you make a reservation at La Rectoria de San Miguel de Pineda, we understand that you agree with the conditions specified. By providing us with a credit card as a guarantee of your reservation, you formalize a legal contract and accept our conditions and cancellation policy.
To confirm a reservation, it is necessary to provide credit card information. No charge will be made to the card at the time of booking. If you cancel the reservation within 7 days prior to arrival or do not show up on the agreed day, you will be responsible for the total cost of the reservation, which will be charged to the card provided at the time of confirmation.

We will do our best to reserve the room(s) and, if possible, refund any money we have been able to recover from the reservation.
At no time do we want to appear too harsh with our cancellation policy, but we are a small business and we hope you understand that we cannot accept short term booking cancellations without charge. Therefore, we recommend that you have travel insurance that covers cancellations.

Important: Between the months of July and October the cancellation policy applies to cancellations made 28 days prior to the booking date. This will be clearly stated in the confirmation email we will send you.

If you have to shorten your stay once you are with us, we reserve the right to charge the full cost of the original booking.

In the event of a no-show, the card given for confirmation will be used to charge the full cost of the stay. If it is not possible to collect the total cost of the reservation with the card provided to us, a debt recovery process will be initiated.

Travel insurance

It is highly recommended to have a personal travel insurance to be able to recover the cost of the stay in case of cancellation, personal accident, medical or legal expenses.

Changes to your reservation

Some cancellations are unavoidable and, whenever possible, we will change the dates of your reservation. If you wish to change the dates of your reservation, we will try to accommodate your request subject to availability. In the event that we are unable to do so and cannot find alternative dates, you will be liable for the cost specified in the cancellation conditions.

Special requests

If you have any special requests (extra bed, room preference, dietary requirements, etc.), you must communicate them at the time of booking.

Book the whole house

If you book the whole house, it is necessary to make a deposit of 25% of the total reservation. In case you cancel the reservation less than 28 days before the arrival date, this deposit will not be refunded. For cancellations made within 7 days prior to arrival, you will be charged the full amount of the reservation, unless we are able to rebook rooms; then you will be charged only for the cost of the rooms that we have not been able to rebook.

Room availability

We will make every effort to provide you with the rooms you requested at the time of booking, but La Rectoria reserves the right to change rooms if necessary.

Payments

Payment for accommodation and any extras (meals, drinks, etc.) must be made upon departure. Payment can be made in cash or by credit card (visa, mastercard and others).

Arrival and departure times

The entrance to the rooms is from 15:00h onwards. You can leave your luggage at La Rectoria if you arrive earlier.

Check-out is at 11 am. If the room is not vacant at 13h on the day of departure, there will be an additional cost, although we will try to be as flexible as we can, depending on the reservations we have on that particular day.

Remember to return the room key at the time of payment. In case of not returning it, there will be a cost of 20€ to replace it.

Dinner

Dinner is served at 8:30 pm. It is necessary to reserve it in advance. If you wish to dine at La Rectoria on the day of arrival, you must book one or two days in advance.

DINNER NOT AVAILABLE ON THURSDAYS DURING THE MONTHS OF JULY AND AUGUST.

Animals

At La Rectoria we do not accept pets. Guests arriving with pets without prior notice and who are unable to leave them in the car will be charged 20 € per day, to cover additional cleaning costs.

Damages

We pride ourselves on providing quality facilities with a high standard of cleanliness. In the event of damage to the facility or items contained therein, the responsibility is the responsibility of the person doing the damage and, therefore, must assume, if applicable, a cost equal to the value of the item to be repaired or replaced.

Personal items

At La Rectoria we do not accept responsibility for the damage or loss of your belongings or for any injuries you may suffer during your stay. We also do not accept any responsibility for theft of your belongings in the rooms, in the car, in the garden, etc.

If you forget an object and need it to be returned to you, there will be an additional cost of 20 euros for shipping.

Smoking

Smoking is strictly forbidden inside the Rectory. Those who wish to smoke will find an ashtray outside. The Rectory reserves the right to add a charge for guests who smoke inside the house to cover possible cleaning costs. Please be careful if you smoke in the surroundings of La Rectoria, because of the possible risk of fire in such a natural environment.
