Our ecotourism commitment:

At Sacra Experience, we are committed to biodiversity conservation and local development in the Ribeira Sacra region. Our project offers high-quality, sustainable, and personalized accommodation, designed so that nature, the wine-growing landscape, and the river environment are the true stars of your stay.

1. Water and Energy Conservation: We implement water-saving and energy-efficient measures in our facilities, including a pellet stove, wood-burning fireplace, double-glazed windows, LED lighting, cross ventilation, and an air-source heat pump for hot water. We also monitor consumption and have eliminated the use of single-use plastics in our accommodations.

2. Local and Regional Products: For breakfast and dinner, we use local and organic products, collaborating with local producers and prioritizing a menu that is linked to the region. We also work with the community garden across the street, the Celtic pig cooperative, local cheeses, and other regional foods, reinforcing the value of local gastronomy.

3. Connection to the Ribeira Sacra: The accommodation is located within the Ribeira Sacra, Serras do Oribio e Courel Biosphere Reserve, and our experiences focus on the natural, wine-growing, and riverine landscape of this Site of Cultural Interest. We also collaborate with local businesses and offer guided ecotourism activities, such as Mais que Románico, Quinta Sacra, and Cinema Palleiriso.

4. Conservation and Local Development: We work to ensure that the positive impact of tourism benefits as many local families as possible, supporting artisans, artists, and local businesses. We also recommend that our guests visit cheese dairies, participate in wine tastings, and explore local agri-food and cultural projects, such as Airas Moniz, Ada Rosa, Ester Teijeiro, and Fundación Ronsel.

Sacra Experience is located in Lugar de Pincelo, a small village in the municipality of Chantada (Lugo), in the heart of the Ribeira Sacra, a Biosphere Reserve and Site of Cultural Interest. A unique landscape of canyons, terraced vineyards, and Romanesque monasteries, where the Miño River is the true protagonist.

The complex comprises several traditional houses and apartments, lovingly restored, all with direct views of the Miño River and its canyon:

Casa Carlota: A two-story house that sleeps up to 7 people. It features a spectacular bathroom integrated into the natural rock and large windows with panoramic views. It includes a fully equipped kitchen, a private terrace, and a wood-burning stove.

O Forno (The Oven): An intimate retreat with a traditional feel for 4 people. It features a living room with a sofa bed, a loft with a double bed, a fully equipped kitchen (with toaster, washing machine, and dryer), a designer bathroom integrated into the rock, and a window overlooking the Miño River.

Pousadoiro and Portoide: Two newly built apartments with all amenities, including a double bed and sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen, and a private bathroom. They share a stunning terrace overlooking the river, perfect for relaxing.
