Listen to the bellowing of the males as they fight to attract the females. <br><br>Our excursions take place on foot, at dawn and dusk, moments when the forest comes alive and all your senses are awakened. Wrap up warm and let yourself be enveloped by the sounds of the forest at the beginning of autumn.<br><br>Throughout this activity, we will explore the fascinating reproductive cycle of the deer, observing how the females choose their mates and learning about the behavior of the males in this intense competition.</p>

Beekeeper for a day
<p>From AturrutA we bring you a totally immersive experience that will not leave you indifferent.<br><br>Put on your beekeeper suit and join us to check our hives located in the Natural Park of Redes.<br><br>You will learn to differentiate the types of bees that live in a hive, the types of cells, how they communicate, the products they create and store and, most surprisingly... their organization.<br><br>Experience very small groups (4-6 people), focused on all audiences, both large and small, who are interested in learning about these small bees.<br><br>Let yourself be conquered by their buzzing and fall in love with these small insects, essential for the ecosystem that surrounds us.</p>

More than a village
<p>In our route, of less than 6 km, we will visit two of the most beautiful villages of the Natural Park of Redes: Soto de Agues and Ladines. We will follow the old road that joins both of them through a beautiful forest of mixed human and natural use.<br><br>The departure from the village of Soto will be slow, as we will stop several times to analyze what the landscape offers us: the meadows, the orchards, the traditional architecture (houses and stables), the ethnographic elements (mill, granaries...), the location of the village... We will talk about the Asturian peasantry, the arrival of industrialization in these valleys and the social and cultural shock it entailed, as well as its manifestations in the landscape and architecture.<br><br>In the forest, we will analyze the sustainable use of the forest; we will stop at the "castañeu", we will talk about "les cuerres", we will see the different uses of the forest and we will observe the morphology of the Asturian forests according to the species and their management. At the same time, there will be space for the recognition of the different plant species that populate this beautiful place, as well as the fauna.<br><br>Medicinal plants and their use will introduce us to the "old apothecary".<br><br>The village of Ladines, in the upper part of the valley, is perhaps one of the most beautiful and best located of the entire park. Like Soto, it will also be the subject of analysis, with explanations that will complement what we have seen previously.<br><br>Its strategic location will provide us with impressive views that will allow us to get to know the geology of this natural space.<br><br>The return to the starting point will serve as a reflection and internalization of everything learned during the route.</p>

Ethnographic Senderismo
<p>The route takes place entirely in the Council of Laviana (protected landscape of the Cuencas Mineras), specifically between the villages of Entralgo, Villoria and Puente d'Arco, crossing the landscapes realistically described by the local writer Armando Palacio Valdés.<br><br>It is a journey in which we will approach the rural world, analyzing and interpreting with a real approach, far from bucolic, the different aspects and elements that make up this landscape: the small urban fabric of the village, how it is configured and why, the different ethnographic elements, traditional architecture, land use and exploitation, the Asturian peasantry, the management and use of the spaces surrounding the village.<br><br>In the same tour, we will analyze the historical importance of the valley as one of the main communication routes and we will have the opportunity to visit the iconic medieval bridge, recently restored, Puente d'Arcu.<br><br>The activity is complemented with a short visit to the Environmental Education Center and Güerta Escuela La Llera, where we will visit the farm for the production of apples and the traditional cider mill (still active), and of course, we will taste the homemade cider made in the same place in the old style.<br><br>If it takes place at the time of the year when this drink so closely linked to Asturies is made, usually in November, the experience will be complete, since we will have the opportunity to participate in the elaboration process.<br><br>We will become llagareros and llagareras for a day, starting with the collection and selection of the apple, followed by the crushing and pressing of the same and ending with the taste of the product made with our own hands. A total experience.</p>
