The Arcada de Fares are eco-tourist apartments established in a restored traditional 15th century Catalan country house. The apartments are located in the province of Girona, in Catalonia, northeast Spain, in a strategically important area from a tourism point of view between the Costa Brava and the Pyrenees. It is the perfect place for families and groups of friends to spend active holidays of discovery, living alongside indigenous nature and culture, and enjoying the Mediterranean sun and climate. You will be able to participate in a wide range of active and cultural tourism activities such as hiking, cycle tourism, mountain biking, adventure sports, botanical routes, guided tours, museums, fairs, traditional markets, etc. with the most complete and personalised tourist information provided to you in our reception, enabling you to make the most of your stay.
Every last detail has been thought of to guarantee your satisfaction, and we always do our utmost to respect the environment.
The Arcada de Fares was created on the basis of an ecotourism philosophy. Our main motivation is the observation and appreciation of nature, contributing to its conservation and generating the minimum possible impact on the natural environment and cultural heritage. The apartments have been designed as much as possible with sustainable construction materials, renewable energy systems (thermal solar energy for heating water) and making use of resources (collection of rain and grey water for garden maintenance, recycling and composting). The swimming pool and the gardens are environmentally friendly. All of this without detriment to aesthetics and comfort.

Mas Rubió
Mas Rubió is a rustic farmhouse located in the Valley of Bas Joanetes in La Garrotxa, surrounded by forests and fields, at the foot of Puigsacalm.
It was built in the 17th century (Garrotxa), surrounded by forests and fields, at the foot of Puigsacalm.
The house preserves an old air and, even adding the elements of modern comfort, hides many details that refer to its past.
It has 6 rooms, all of them with bathroom and capacity for 14 people. The dining room is very spacious and bright, with large arched windows and a small balcony. On the first floor there are two rooms with Catalan vault ceiling, one with carpeted floor and toys for the little ones that serves as a toy library and another with table and chairs for courses, workshops, lectures and meetings. On the second floor there is a living room with a fireplace and a seat, and on the second floor there is a large living room and library.

Its lively rural landscape makes it an idyllic place for mountain excursions, where the passage from one season to the next delights us with unique landscapes.
We have 6 cabins, the price of the reservation includes a night for 2 people with breakfast included.
Children from 0 to 2 years old do not pay, from 3 to 16 years old have an extra cost of 20€.
The price for extra person from 16 years old is 50€.
Pets are not allowed.
