After a first steep but short climb, we reach the Racó volcano that offers good views of much of the valley of Bas and the Natural Park of the Volcanic Zone of the Garrotxa.

A pleasant path will take us to the Romanesque chapels of Corb: Sant Miquel and Sant Martí, true pictures of the Garrotxa landscape.

And towards Olot, we can lose ourselves for a while in the Hayedo d'en Jordà, a unique forest in the world, on a river of lava.

The city of Olot is on the slope of four volcanoes.

This itinerary begins with a walk to the volcano Montolivet, passing through the horseshoe crater.

After this first stop, we head to the Montsacopa volcano, the summit gives us a 360º view, contemplating the Pyrenees, a series of other volcanoes, the peaks around Puigsacalm and the Sierra del Corb, the Garrinada volcano and Olot itself.

We will finish the tour at the crater of the Bisaroques volcano after a short climb through forests and meadows.

We will start in the beautiful village of Hostalets d'en Bas, from where we will look for the route of the royal road that formerly linked Olot with Vic.

The path gains altitude as it winds through the oak forest and the higher we climb, the more well preserved is the cobblestone path.

The route follows the ridge passing through very diverse meadows and crossing streams and brooks.

We arrive at Sant Miquel de Castelló, a building of medieval origin, related to the castle of the Viscounts of Bas. The panoramic view is spectacular.
