Nature is our greatest treasure: preserving it is everyone's task. From Valle de Iruelas we are committed to respect and protect our heritage. We avoid altering the habitats of species such as the black vulture and the imperial eagle. We strive to signpost our trails so as not to damage the vegetation and to maintain silence so as not to disturb the fauna. We reduce our ecological footprint and support local communities by consuming from local businesses and valuing their cultural heritage. We promote the conservation of this natural treasure by spreading sustainable practices.

Iruelas Valley Natural Reserve

Located in the southeast of the province of Avila, in the heart of the Sierra de Gredos, the Iruelas Valley is one of the most fascinating and best preserved natural areas of Castilla y Leon. This valley, declared a Nature Reserve in 1997, is known for its impressive biodiversity, its lush black pine forests and its importance as a habitat for emblematic species such as the black vulture, one of the largest colonies in Europe.
