In the Hoces del Río Riaza Natural Park, vegetation and fauna are mixed in a diverse and fascinating ecosystem. In the moorlands, the predominant vegetation is steppe, characterized by its resistance to aridity and water scarcity. Here, patches of trees adapted to the extreme climatic conditions can be found, such as junipers, holm oaks and some gall oaks.
