During our guided visit “The wine of the South” we invite you to learn about grape cultivation on the southern slope of La Gomera.
On a short walking route along the old paths of the area we will get to know the surroundings of the Niray Winery, we will discover the particularities of the place, and we will learn how La Gomera wine was made in a traditional way.
Next, we will visit the vineyards of the winery, where the winemaker will tell us about the native Forastera Gomera grape and what makes it special.
In addition, we will see the wine cellar and the production of its wines. And of course, we will taste the excellent wines of the Niray Winery in a commented tasting.

From flower to flower
How much honey does a bee collect in its lifetime? How long does a bee live? And why is the bee often referred to as the most important living creature on our planet?
We answer these and many other questions during our thematic tour. We visit a beekeeper and his bees, look at life into a beehive and learn a lot of interesting things about these unique creatures.
On a short walking route along the old paths of the area we will discover the flowers and their characteristics. In addition, we will visit a butterfly oasis and get to know its surroundings.
Next, we will approach an apiary, where the beekeeper is waiting for us. If you want, you put on the beekeeper's suit and discover the secrets of a hive and its inhabitants up close.
And of course, we will taste the result of the tireless work of the bees.

The apothecary of yore
The laurel forest of La Gomera, a surviving forest from the Tertiary Era, is home to a great diversity of species, some of them unique in the world. Wrapped in the mists coming from the trade winds, it invites us to discover its secrets, learn about its singularities and enjoy its freshness and beauty.
We will meet at the chapel of Las Hayas on the edge of the Garajonay National Park, where our hiking route begins. We will enter the ancient laurel forest on foot and following in the footsteps of the island's ancient inhabitants we will learn a lot about the medicinal herbs that grow in this "forest pharmacy." If weather permits, we will enjoy the views of the Vallehermoso ravine to the majestic Teide. Our path will take us along narrow and somewhat inclined old paths back to the hamlet of Las Hayas.

Elevation difference: 200 meters of ascent and 200 meters of descent approx.

Garajonay National Park
We take you along the most beautiful trails and areas so that you can get to know this unique forest.
We will meet at the Bus Station in San Sebastian de La Gomera and we will head to the center of the island until we reach the Garajonay National Park.
We will begin our hiking route near the entrance to Garajonay. Under a dense crown of enormous trees we will cross the ancient laurel forest with its exuberant vegetation, sometimes enveloped by trade wind clouds creating a mystical atmosphere. Passing by some viewpoints with stunning views to the nearby valleys we will return uphill and then descend through an area of laurel forest full of mosses and lichens.
After having enjoyed about 4 hours of walking excursion, we will return in our transport to San Sebastián de La Gomera.
Difficulty level: low/medium
Distance: 8 to 10 km approx.
Elevation difference: 250 meters of ascent and 200 meters of descent approx.
Duration: 4 a 5 hours of walking plus transfer time (6 hours totally)

Best of Garajonay
Do you want to get to know the essence of Garajonay National Park?
You'll spend a pleasant day on this guided excursion departing from San Sebastián de La Gomera. We'll take you along easy trails and introduce you to the unique flora and fauna of the Laurisilva forest on La Gomera.
We'll meet at the bus station in San Sebastián de La Gomera and head toward the center of the island to the foot of the highest mountain, Alto de Garajonay. We'll walk to its summit on a short 45-minute hike and learn how the mountain got its mysterious name. After enjoying the views, we'll return to the bus and continue our excursion to the mystical Laguna Grande, a meeting place and a place of legends. We'll also visit an area of ??the park where the mists of the trade winds often bathe the laurel forest, so important to the survival of this unique forest.
On the way back to San Sebastián, we'll pass through the pottery village of El Cercado, where the potters continue their work of yesteryear. We'll stop at the Igualero and Los Roques viewpoints, two iconic sites with stunning views of the vast southern valleys.
Difficulty level: easy. The excursion includes three short walks, each approximately 1 to 2.5 km long and with an elevation gain of approximately 150 meters. Duratión approx: 6 to 7 hours.

We create our distinctive gofio gomero cookies. We follow the traditional family recipe that has been passed down from generation to generation, being the third generation, while exploring new possibilities by offering a wide variety of flavors, including innovative options such as ginger, curry, turmeric, as well as the traditional cinnamon, lemon, orange, among others.
Every day, we make up to 22 different flavors, using seasonal products such as figs, oranges, lemons, palm honey and orange honey.It is relevant to point out that our cookies contain gluten, as we use gofio mix, which includes millet, wheat and barley.
We are located in the Visitor Center "Juego de Bolas" of the Garajonay National Park, a perfect place to immerse yourself in nature and appreciate the magic of the environment.
